a beautiful summer thursday.

what a blessing of a day. started off with a workout, then went to completely ruin said workout with gourmet cupcakes and coffee. i met up with my friends meredith and paige for sweets, girl time, and awesome conversation.  here are the goodies we chose; a raspberry lemonade cupcake, a red velvet cupcake, a buckeye cupcake, and a white chocolate raspberry cupcake truffle. i know, right?

paige and mere are both going to be seniors in high school this year and are both beautiful beyond words. they love jesus and strive to look like Him. they do not know how much people look up to them and they're both such an encouragement to me. meredith loves to read blogs, like me, and will actually be starting her own blog soon. she doesn't know this yet, but she will. all in good time. and when she does, i will post a link to it!

since we didn't have anyone to take a pic of all three of us, we had to do three pics of two of us. if a picture is worth a thousand words, you now have 4,000 words. i think the reason these girls like to hang out with me is because i'm so witty. 

following this lovely afternoon was an evening with my very best friend from high school. hanging with her is just like old times. after catching up with her, her family, and their new puppy, it was amazing to drive home with the convertible top down and just worship on the top of my lungs. God is so good for providing days like today. He is also good for providing a day like your day. thank Him for it.
